It's the season of giving. Don't forget us
Special Kids Photography of America wishes all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We especially send our sincerest desire that your new year will be richly prosperous and full of many new clients.
The year has been richly rewarding but also lean in donations for SKPA too. We invite you to consider us on your gift list this year. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and will be happy to send you a receipt for your donation so you can cheerfully show it to the IRS in April. You may send a check (made out to SKPA) or donate on our website, using the "miscellaneous charge" category for an amount paid through PayPal. We appreciate any amount you can share with us.
Acclaimed Photography in Seattle is sponsoring a special holiday fundraiser for SKPA. The concept is very simple. They offer a special for a discounted amount and a limited amount of time. The checks are made out to SKPA. This not only establishes good will in the community, but it can attract new customers. Click here to see the flyer produced by Acclaimed Photography.

Local Buddy Walk is opportunity to shine

Dórame
Most areas of the country host a local Buddy Walk (to support their Down Syndrome Association) or Special Olympics. Become involved. Offer your services as a photographer. Capture event candids and also take free "on site" head shots.

It's a fun event! The Southern Utah Down Syndrome Association recently held a great community event in St. George, Utah. Several local businesses (including Home Depot) took part to provide a game or activity for the children or to donate balloons, food or other needed item. The walk was short, but nevertheless, had a start and finish for the. "once around the block" jaunt. TIP: For event photography, go to Lowe's or Home Depot; buy a lightweight black tool belt to hold gear and attention-getters on the waist ($20-30.)
The photography booth was a grand success. Even though the photos were free, people made donations to the Down Syndrome Association. Take along a fun background and pass out your contact information for future family bookings at your studio.

Webinars for SKPA    Marathon Press continues with their support of SKPA through a series of very affordable webinars the first two were on the subjects of Down Syndrome and Autism., available at a killer price of $15 each. Marathon donates profits to Special Kids Photo. Thank them for helping us!

SKPA now has three different baffles available on the SKPA website.
